What this edition is for
The base every edition builds on. Retail carries the whole counter operation: an offline POS, product variants for size, colour and model, barcodes, stock control with reorder alerts and transfers, customers with statements, credit limits and loyalty, tax in your own currency, split payments, returns and discounts — plus serial and IMEI capture with warranty tracking, and the full double-entry ledger.

One product, many variants — size, colour and model each counted, priced and barcoded on its own, so “T-shirt, M, Navy” is a stock line you can actually track.
Serials, IMEI & warranty
Capture a serial or IMEI at the sale, set a warranty period per product, and look up any sold unit — who bought it, when, and whether it is still covered — with a full claims workflow behind it.
Offline POS & barcode billing
Fast checkout with barcode scanning, variant picking, split payments (cash, card, MoMo), discounts, returns and credit notes — fully offline at the counter.
Stock control & reorder alerts
Real-time levels down to the variant, reorder alerts before you run out, and a valuation on any day of the month. Batch and expiry tracking is there for the perishable lines that need it.
Transfers & multi-branch
A store room behind the shop or a second outlet across town — move stock between locations with a paper trail, and run every branch from one back office.

Where the other editions go further
Retail is the base. If you also want to sell online, the Retail + Online Store edition adds a public storefront, online payment via Paystack and a confirm-and-deliver flow — every online order posting into this same stock and ledger.
If you trade in bulk and on account, the Wholesale & Distribution edition adds price lists per customer class, credit customers with running statements and enforced limits, and multi-warehouse stock across the operation.

Serials and warranty, handled
Phones, electronics and appliances carry a serial or IMEI and a warranty, and Retail treats both as first-class records. Capture the serial at the point of sale, put a warranty period on the products that carry one, and every sold unit gets its own expiry date. When a customer walks back in, look the unit up — who bought it, when, and whether it is still covered — and log the claim against it.
This is part of Retail, not a separate add-on — it comes with the edition, and with every edition built on it.
